Sierra Snow

Heavenly and Kirkwood have received plenty of snow and more is on the way this weekend. It’s all setting up for one of the best ski seasons in years.

The good news is that once the snow and winds start to settle on Monday the skiing will be incredible. Our Diamond Valley House is perfectly situated should you choose either resort. Since we are at a lower elevation, everything is a little easier….parking  your car, taking a walk with your dog, firing up the bbq, enjoying the backyard sundeck.

Guests are reporting :“The lightest freshest fresh in years. It’s a blast!” Include a soak at Grover Hot Springs (15 minutes away) for an apres-ski treat. It’s all good.

Reserve early. You’ll want to visit more than once.  Call our managers at Sorensen’s Resort: 530) 694-2203 and tell them you want to reserve the Diamond Valley House.
